Vestey Holdings and YMCA England & Wales have launched a transformative partnership to inspire the future generation and realise a shared vision to see young people reach their full potential.

Alongside my colleagues, I will journey through the rugged and dramatic landscape of the Lake District, as they venture across 12.5 miles and tackle five of England's most demanding peaks. As a group, we will climb to over 3,000 feet, crossing crags and moorland past the Langdale Pikes towards the highest peak - Scafell Pike.

We are raising money to support YMCA's work with young people experiencing homelessness. Those living in YMCA supported accommodation receive so much more than just a bed and a roof over their heads. Young people receive vital emotional support, training and employment opportunities, as well as a place in a friendly community where they can thrive.
