Last year I made a commitment to the young people I work with that I would run a half marathon. All in the spirit of knowing that we can all do things that are hard.

I wasn't going to do it as a charity run - I always feel a bit awkward asking people for money towards something that I have chosen to do.

Yet, it's also a good opportunity to raise money to support this wonderful charity which has been set up in honour of Trey - a student who hasn't been forgotten.
