Mission Direct continues to partner with Serve Cambodia and the Fellowship of Hope Church network in Cambodia, but our focus in 2024 is moving from Phnom Penh to a remote rural community in the northern province of Preah Vihear to build a school.

Story

I’m joined Mission Direct volunteers in February 2024. Joining with local people in a remote rural community in northern Preah Vihear I began building a much needed village school.

Mr Meng Oum and wife Sreylin, with their young daughter Emma, have begun with an outdoor school for 60 village children from Mr Meng’s house. The children need shelter from the sun and rain and the project needs to raise funds for the building costs for two-classrooms.

The site is ready for the next stage of building and is calling for the resources to ensure that building continues for these children.

If friends and family can help me, by drawing on their spontaneous and amazing generosity, this will give these children and their families the education opportunities of their dreams.

Many thanks, my beautiful warm hearted friends

Joanna
