UPDATE: Very sadly, while I've been rehearsing with this choir, on October 16th my beautiful cousin Nikki passed away from cancer (age 49). Velindre were there for her when she needed it the most and it was in their care that she took her last breath. I will be singing in Nikki's honour and also in honour of my nan, Alice, who passed away from cancer a few years back. The two beauties are now back together again, two bright stars in the sky.

This autumn, 100 women are coming together to form a brand-new choir for a one-off concert at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama on Sunday 9th November. And I am one of the fortunate women to have an opportunity to take part! :)

The project raises funds for the Rhian Griffiths Forget Me Not Fund at Velindre Cancer Care, in memory of Rhian, who sadly passed away from cervical cancer aged just 25.

Every pound raised will help Velindre continue their vital work supporting families affected by cancer.
