On 5th July 2016, me and my sister Lucy said goodbye to our amazing mum, Joanne Addis, after she was cared for at St Michael’s Hospice. The kindness, warmth, and compassion shown by the staff meant the world to us and made such a difference during a difficult time.

This year marks 10 years since we lost her, and we wanted to do something positive to honour her memory. We’re also so grateful to be joined by Joanne’s best friend Jayne and her friend Mandy, which makes this even more special to us.

In celebration of her life — and the incredible work of the hospice team — we’re raising money to support their care and contribute to the fight against cancer, so more families can experience the same support we did 💛

The Venus Midnight walk is one of our most-loved events! In 2026 it returns for its 18th year! Venus is a female walk around Hereford adorned in pink. The brighter you are the better, as we aim to light up the streets of Hereford with our sea of pink-ladies walking together in remembrance or just for fun!
