Last year Laura Hayley and I each ran 100 miles in January for the Lister hospitals cancer ward in honour of our wonderful friend Rebecca.

The trust invited us to continue our fund raising and abseil down the side of the Lister on Saturday 25th April 2026.

The hospital is aiming to buy a new scalp cooling machine, so any donation no matter how small will go a long way in helping them achieve this.

We know many of you sponsored us last year so there is no pressure at all.

Sadly Rebecca lost her battle last year, however I’m pretty sure she will be up there watching us and finding it pretty hilarious!

I am fundraising for East and North Hertfordshire Hospitals' Charity!

The charity supports the four hospitals within the East and North Hertfordshire Trust - Lister Hospital, New QEII, Hertford County and Mount Vernon Cancer Centre - helping them go above and beyond for patients, their families and visitors. The charity funds new specialist equipment, extra staff training, research and projects to enhance patient experience.
