I wanted to set myself a challenge in my retirement year 2025 / 2026 and there’s no better way than to run the London Marathon for a very special charity - the Forward trust, please read below on how they help people break the cycle of crime and addiction.

Many of you know I will be running this with love in my heart for two special people in my life both broke the cycle of alcohol addiction- my husband and my mum.

I will run this in memory of my mum who achieved 7yrs soberity before she died in 2022. My darling husband will be 8yrs sober when I run / fall into his arms at the finish line!
