Ambitious about Autism is the National Charity for autistic children and young people championing their rights and creating opportunities. They stand with autistic children and young people by providing services, raising awareness, understanding and by campaigning for change.

Story

Autism affects 1 in 100 people. It affects the way a person communicates and how they see the world around them. Only 29% of autistic people are in work.

Through Marsh McLennan's partnership with Ambitious about Autism, I have grown increasingly passionate about supporting autistic young people, championing their rights, raising awareness and creating opportunities.

This abseil is a huge personal challenge for me, inspired in the knowledge, that every £1 I raise will go towards a flagship employability programme helping autistic young people gain meaningful employment. This programme is crucial in helping them access the workplace, which is vital to independence, self-esteem and wellbeing.

Please donate as much or as little as you can spare - every £1 will make a difference. Thank you! Jo x
