Story
This year marks 10 years since my dad passed away after his battle with dementia, and to honor his memory, I’ve decided to take on the Great North Run. I’m doing this to give back to those who supported us during our hardest times.
I’m raising money for Teesside Dementia a local, non-profit charity that means the world to me and my family.
Teesside Dementia was always there for us. They offered support, guidance, and compassion when we needed it most not just for my dad, but for all of us caring for him. This small charity works tirelessly to support people living with dementia and their carers, often behind the scenes, and always with heart.
Now it’s my turn to give something back.
Every donation big or small will go directly toward helping Teesside Dementia continue their incredible work: running support groups, offering one-to-one guidance, or simply being a listening ear. Your support truly makes a difference.
Thank you for reading, and thank you so much if you’re able to donate. Let’s do this for all the families walking the same path.💙
