I am excited to take part in The Big Ride 2023 in support of Street Child!

In Ukraine, despite having no previous presence, Street Child quickly mobilised and partnered with local organisations to respond to the widespread devastation cause by Russia’s full-scale invasion.

Street Child were the first international organisation to enter the de-occupied territory of Kyiv oblast, helping re-build schools and provide mental health support for children recovering from the trauma.

This year I have taken on the half marathon event as part of The Big Ride 2023, but also in the same week I will be running the Lakeland trails half marathon and Leeds 10km.

I hope my participation in these events will go some way to help Street Child to keep children safe, in school and learning.
