Story

On the 26th April at the age of 57( nearly 58 😬) I will be taking on the incredible challenge of running my first marathon, the London marathon, to raise money for St Peter’s Hospice. St Peter’s Hospice is a charity that provides compassionate, specialist care and support to people with life-limiting illnesses, as well as their families.

St Peter’s Hospice offers their services free of charge, but they rely heavily on donations to continue their vital work. Their care helps people live well until the end of their lives, with dignity, comfort, and support, both in the hospice and in their own houses. St Peter’s has been providing tailored and holistic care to those in need in the Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset area for over 40 years.

Running a marathon is no small feat for me - it has taken months of training, commitment and determination. There have been some tough days already and there will be a few more to come, but knowing I am doing it for such an important charity will keep me going every step of the way.

Any donation big or small will make a real difference and help St Peter’s Hospice continue to provide their incredible care and support to those who really need it most. HSBC, my employer, will also be matching my fundraising to a maximum of £500

Thank you so much for your support, whether that’s donating, sharing this page or coming to cheer me on.🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️.
