Alyx and Stewart were two of life's most bright, vibrant and deeply loved people. Both were diagnosed with cancer at similar times, underwent gruelling treatment to get into remission only for their cancers to recur. Alyx passed away in November 2023 and Stewart in January 2024. Their bravery, grace and absolute determination in refusing to allow cancer to rule their lives was an inspiration to all of us blessed to know them. In their final days they were cared for by the wonderful staff at St Andrews Hospice and in their honour a team of family and friends is undertaking the 13 mile Midnight Walk on June 15th to raise vital funds. Any amount you can spare will be so greatly appreciated.
