Story
Firstly...why hot coals? Why not? This is a cause that I care about a lot, and here's why.
At some point, we hope we and our loved ones will all receive compassionate end-of-life care. My experience with close loved ones has shown me that end-of-life care is not always as thoughtful and kind to our loved ones and our memories as we hope. This is why I support one of our local hospices in its mission to provide highly trained specialist services.
Rennie Grove Peace Hospice has over 1,600 volunteers, of which I am one, and I have seen firsthand how different things can be with an exceptional and focused service. Along with volunteers, the hospice also needs financial funding.
Please help to keep this vital service running by making a donation of whatever you can afford.
