Hi everyone, and thank you so much for taking the time to visit my page. This is my second time creating a GoFundMe, so I’d like to share a little of my story. Nine years ago, I lost my beautiful daughter to SADS (Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome). She was only 25 years old. Her passing left a hole in our hearts and a little girl without her mum. I took my granddaughter, Poppy, under my wing and have raised her ever since. She’s now 15 growing into an amazing young lady, and together we’ve been talking about how we could honour her mum’s memory in a meaningful way. We decided that raising money to buy a defibrillator would be a powerful tribute—something that could truly save lives and help prevent another family from going through what we did.
