My lovely friend is Angie is one of a number of people who I have seen bravely battling cancer. I turn 50 this summer and don’t take for granted the fact that age is something many people don’t get to experience. To celebrate Angie, to encourage her in her journey and to give myself a personal challenge, I will be running the Chester Marathon on the 6th October for Wirral Hospice St John's Hospice. This fantastic charity relies on donations and fundraising activities to keep caring for patients and their loved ones at a time of most need.
