Story
I am raising sponsorship to support the care and services St Richard's Hospice provide to patents and families across Worcestershire.
I am taking taking part in a five-day trek in the across the Great Wall of China. this is an epic adventure to trekking a remote section of the Great Wall of China, from Gubeikou to Jinshanling and Simatai 🥾
The Great Wall is built on rolling hills and some sections have hundreds of thousands of stairs, some of which have begun to crumble and are more like steep gravel slopes.
This challenge is in support of St Richard’s Hospice and taking place in October 2026. I am planning various fundraising activities/events between now and the departure date as part of the efforts to support St Richards Hospice. I would be grateful for any support you are able to offer me. It all goes a long way to supporting St Richards care within Worcestershire.
St Richard’s Hospice provides free specialist palliative care for patients living with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses and supports their families. Each year the hospice team supports over 3,100 patients and family members in Worcestershire.
Patients are cared for in our Living Well Centre, the 17-bed In-patient Unit or in their own homes by a specialist professional team as well as many trained volunteers. St Richard’s is grateful for all donations towards the £12.2 million required each year to continue their work.
