I am taking part in a skydive to raise money for a charity close to my heart. In 2022 my GranMa was diagnosed with vascular dementia and it’s been tough on our whole family. Over the last 3 years I’ve watched her change physically and mentally, however, her love for me and her other grandchildren has always been present.

Age UK Kent Rivers is an amazing charity who help her every week and gives my Grandad some much needed and deserved respite. She is picked up, spends the day at the dementia day centre with lots of activities to give her the stimulation she needs, has lots of fun and brought back home safely again with a smile on her face! The support, care and affection the charity has given my Grandma has been incredible and this is a way of showing my thanks by giving something back.

I have always wanted to do a skydive and turning 16 at the beginning of June, I’ll finally be old enough and can’t wait!
