Joanne's fundraiser for Cure Parkinsons

Joanne Metcalf is raising money for Cure Parkinson’s

Cure Parkinson's April Dog Walking Challenge 2025 · 1 April 2025 to 30 April 2025 ·

Our April Dog Walking Challenge encourages supporters to get outside and enjoy the spring sunshine to walk 100km with their dog throughout the month while raising awareness for our ground-breaking research into a cure for Parkinson's.

Story

As some of you may or may not be aware, my Dad is suffering from an aggressive form of Parkinsons. The disease is called Multiple system atrophy.

Multiple system atrophy (MSA) is a rare, fatal, and progressive neurological disease that causes brain deterioration and disrupts movement.

I have decided to take on the 100km dog walk challenge in April. Nelly is as excited as I am to take on this challenge and raise money for such an important charity, one that is very close to my heart.

I know times are hard right now for most of us, but if you could find it in your heart to spare a few pounds, however big or small, I would appreciate it sooooo much!

Thankyou.

Love
