Team RJAH will be hitting the streets of London to take on the TCS London Marathon, raising vital funds to support patients, staff, and visitors at The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital.

Story

In April 2026, I'll be lacing up my trainers and taking on one of the world's most iconic challenges - the London Marathon - to raise funds for a charity that is close to my heart: the League of Friends of the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital (RJAH)

Back in 2019, my father suffered a devastating injury when he fell through a greenhouse, severing the nerves in his dominant left hand. It was a life-changing moment- and yet thanks to the incredible, ground breaking treatment he received at RJAH, he regained function and grip in his hand allowing him to once more wield his faithful golf clubs!

Seeing first hand the dedication, compassion and expertise of the RJAH inspired me deeply. Now, as a Trustee of the League of Friends, I have the privilege of supporting the hospital's mission to provide world class care, research and rehabilitation - but this time I'm taking it one step further (well 26.2 miles further) by running to raise funds that will directly improve patients' lives.

The League of Friends supports RJAH by funding vital medical equipment, patient comforts, and services that go beyond what the NHS can provide - from specialist rehabilitation equipment to helping make hospital stays more comfortable. Every pound raised goes directly towards making a difference.

I've set myself a fundraising target of £2,000.00, and i would love your support to help me reach it. Whether you can give £5 or £50, every donation will help someone receive the care and support they need when life takes an unexpected turn - just as my dad did.

Thank you so much for your generosity and encouragement - and if you see me out training in the rain, please give me a wave (or remind me why I have signed up for this)!

Please donate and share my page - let's make every mile matter.
