Deb’s and Jo are running the Manchester Marathon on Sunday 19th April 2026 for Myeloma UK.

This charity is very close to our hearts after our amazing human Mark (Deb’s husband and Jo’s brother) got diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in March this year.

This photograph of Mark (taken on his 46th Birthday outing with his two daughters) was also the day Mark found out he had MGUS and would develop Myeloma at some point in his life. Only a few weeks later after a bone marrow biopsy and numerous tests and scans he was diagnosed with multiple myeloma.

Everyone that knows Mark will know that he is the most kind, funny, genuine, hardworking man who loves nothing more than to be with his family and dogs and being on his retro arcades.

This news has been completely shocking for us all as we can’t imagine what Mark is going through looking at his life through a different lens and knowing that his future is not how he imagined.

We have felt helpless over recent weeks and we want to do something positive to give mark a boost and to help this amazing charity that have already given us so much support.
