Fancy a Friday night out

14th of November, a Friday night out like no other

This Friday night maybe like no other you’ve experienced. This is Noah’s Big Silverstone Sleepout. This will be the third time there has been a sleepout designed to raise funds for the homeless charity Noah, who support homeless people throughout Bedfordshire. If you thought the first year was comfortable, sleeping out with cows mooing at Wrest Park, or maybe a night out for numerous CEOs at Kenilworth Road. Sounds like a challenge, this year Noah has been invited to Silverstone. This isn’t a night in a tent, this is the real thing. A night sleeping out rough, cardboard for your bed and sleeping bag. Making a stand in solidarity with those experiencing homelessness and poverty.

Ready to take a step outside your comfort zone? Participation helps raise vital funds and awareness for those living without a home. Together, we can help build brighter futures — one night at a time.

One thing is for sure sleeping on Silverstone pit lane won't be a comfortable experience, by morning everyone will be tyred!!!

Our Story

Joanne works for Noah and took the challenge to do the first sleepout while I sat in a cosy security room doing night shift. Lovely and warm, I went to pick her up. That night, she learnt how hard it was for the clients that Noah have. There are many reasons why a person maybe homeless, but Noah tries to help them. Our daughter once ran away, thinking that her boyfriend would make her life wonderful. At one point they were living in a tent, homeless. Joanne tells me how Noah help men, women and sometimes even families that have become homeless.

So for one night I plan not to be in that nice warm security office with the heater on, but I want to take the challenge to sleep rough for the night. Both Jo and I with cardboard, sleeping bag and maybe a tarpaulin if we are lucky. To take a stand against poverty and homelessness.
