January 2026 would see Millie turning 14 but unfortunately she never even got to blow the candles out on her first birthday cake because she passed away suddenly at the age of 9 months.

I'm Millie's mummy and I often take part in fundraisers for the charity we created in her memory, Millie's Trust but also because they are a great distraction for me around these tough dates.

This year, I'm doing " 14 or something or other" for 140 days.

What does that mean? Well, this could be an interesting one.

I will be doing lots of things through the 140 days with the challenge being that it has to include the number 14... so it could be 14 minutes of continual dancing ( I can't dance by the way, haha), 140 pages of a book in one sitting, 1.4 mile walk in one go, tell jokes live for 14 minutes on social media... I suppose the possibilities are endless with this one.

And the fun bit is, I want you to make the suggestions and each day will be picked on a daily basis - I feel like having some fun with this one... :-)

It will run from 12th December 2025 until 1st May 2026.

My aim is to raise £1400 with this fundraiser but I would love to raise £14,000, because that would cover a huge chunk of our charity office rent where we host many of our courses and all the hard work happens at Millie's Trust - this would be a huge help to us... but I understand times are hard for people and we genuinely appreciate every penny.
