In 2021, a very good friend of mines daughter, Jessica, passed away at the age of 18 from Glioblastoma, which is an aggressive brain tumour.

This year, Jessica's family have launched a charity in her memory, Jessica's Promise. Jessica loved sport, particularly playing rugby and football. This charity aims to break down barriers preventing children from accessing sport.

On the 9th June, I will be running the Two Castles run for the first time for this amazing cause. It is not the furthest I have ran, however, running is something I have found difficult since having my daughter 1 year ago and my fitness certainly isn't the same as it was! This run will be a challenge but knowing I am running for this amazing cause will be my inner power to finish the race!
