Some of you may know that I am a proud Trustee of the mental health charity, Creative Living Centre, in Prestwich. The centre do amazing work, providing a much need mental health support provision for many, many people in our community. But, we rely completely on funding.

Many of you will also know that for many years I have been 'a runner'. However, over the last 2-3 years in particular, I appear to have completely lost my mojo and I'm trying had to break through my own mental barrier and find love again in the sport I used to love so much.

So, I have agreed to take part in the Bury 10k - 1) to raise much needed funds for the CLC, and 2) to give me something to aim for (and achieve), in my journey back to being 'a runner'.

I've always had an great deal of support from my family and friends whenever I undertake fundraising, so I hope you will once again spare just a few pounds to support me and this very, very worthy cause
