We have been incredibly grateful for the support we have received following on from Joan’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis a few years ago. She attended many lunches, specialised groups, art clubs and courses. She was visited at home to offer support for living with someone with Dementia and later for advice on how to manage it herself. Age UK have also been a huge support system for all of the family in the last 5 years and we are incredibly grateful for all that they have done.
