Help T.I.M.E buy a Soundbeam
On the back of a recent podcast with the founders of charity Together In Musical Expression (T.I.M.E.) I want to help raise funds for a very special instrument called a Soundbeam.
T.I.M.E runs music sessions for people with learning disabilities, dementia, and other additional needs across Essex. Music has an incredible ability to reconnect people with memories, emotions, and each other.
A Soundbeam uses invisible beams of motion-sensitive light to create music. Even the smallest movement (like moving a finger) can trigger sounds, meaning people with very limited mobility can actively take part in making music.
The instrument costs around £3,500, which is a significant investment for a small charity.
If the episode inspires you and you’d like to help, any contribution will go towards helping T.I.M.E bring this amazing instrument into their sessions and help with their mission of making music accessible to everyone.
