We are excited to announce that Jobshop will be holding a bake sale in aid of the Acquired Brain Injury Team on the Portland Ward at Poole Hospital.

This fantastic cause has been nominated by Katrina, Jobshop’s Talent Resourcer, who recently experienced the amazing work of all the staff after a family member spent 7 months on the ward following a sudden medical emergency. All the staff provide outstanding levels of kindness, care and support to their patients on their routes to recovery, as well as supporting their families. The ward makes a real difference in the physical and neuro rehabilitation of patients, allowing them to regain as much of a quality of life and independence as possible.

On the 1st July, we will be holding a bake sale to raise funds at our offices in Branksome and would be delighted if you can make it! There will be lots of home-made cakes and treats, including healthy bakes. Please stop and have a coffee/tea with us, or if you're in a hurry you can take your sweet treats away with you. If you're local, we may even be able to box up and deliver an order to you!

The money raised will go directly to enhancing patient stay which is often lengthy over several months or more. Funds may be used for anything to improve patient experience, such as group activities/therapy, toiletry provisions and trips out to Costa or the park.

You can make cash donations on the day, or alternatively, you can contribute through our JustGiving page. Every donation, however small will help make a huge impact on the ward and the patients they assist in their recoveries!
