Dick (Richard) requested no flowers at his funeral but he wanted money to be raised for Different Strokes, Whitstable Branch as they helped his youngest Son Steve, recover from an unexpected and sudden stroke aged 52.

Every year approximately 100,000 people will have a stroke in the UK and 25% of those are under 65, it is the single biggest cause of disability. Different Strokes provides active peer support through information, advice and rehabilitation services.
