On June 13th me and four incredibly important women in my life will be trekking by torchlight through the night to reach the summit of Ben Nevis by dawn. We are taking on this breath taking challenge for a wonderful and important charity called ‘Action for Children’. With the moon as our backdrop we will climb the highest mountain in the UK through the night and hope to reach the summit by dawn and be lucky enough to see the beautiful sunrise over the stunning Scottish Highlands. Taking part in this event is not only a huge personal achievement in my 40th year and something that has been on my bucket list for some time but knowing we/you will also be helping our society’s most vulnerable children to have a safe and happy childhood is the cherry on top.
