In January 2025 I will be travelling to Tanzania, Africa to climb to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money for Breast cancer clinical trials for Princess Alexander Harlow and St Margaret’s Epping.

Many of you will know that the Breast cancer charity is close to our families hearts & my mother-in-law Kay spends much of her time raising money for them. Her partner Ray was always by her side during her fundraising to accompany her on these big adventures.

Sadly, Ray lost his life with no warning to lymphoma earlier this year, so in his honour I will be taking his place to be by Kay’s side, to climb the biggest challenge of her life without Ray, to get her to the top of Kilimanjaro.

Those that know me well will know I have never camped in a tent in my life so camping on a mountain for 8 nights in minus temperature’s & high altitude is completely out of my comfort zone but I am determined to make my way to the top which is a huge 5895m (19,341ft)

high!! & raise as much money as possible along the way.
