12 Races, 12 Months, 1 Cause: Supporting Breast Cancer Now

In 2025, Lucy and I have set ourselves an exciting challenge: to run 12 races in 12 months, with each race being a minimum of 10k.

It’s a big commitment, but we’re motivated by a cause that means so much to us. Breast Cancer Now has been a pillar of support for both of our families, and we’ve seen firsthand the incredible work they do.

My family have been directly impacted by cancer too many times but thankfully those concerned are now in remission.

For Lucy this cause is especially personal. Her mum is currently battling secondary breast cancer, a diagnosis for which there is sadly no cure. Throughout her fight, Breast Cancer Now has provided her with invaluable support, offering forums and resources where she can connect with others navigating the same journey. Knowing she’s not alone has made a huge difference to her—and to their family.

To give back to this amazing charity, Lucy and I will be funding all our race entries ourselves, ensuring that every penny donated goes directly to Breast Cancer Now.
