Story

The boys and I are fundraising for Brain Tumour Research with ‘Aaron’s Army’ and are carrying out a ‘Walk of Hope’, around the mere at Ellesmere, in his memory.

On April 9th 2023, Aaron lost his 3 year battle against a rare, high grade brain tumour, an Ependymoma. He was just 7 years old. Aaron was my cousin’s son, happy, strong, determined, with a beautiful smile and a love of superhero’s.

My cousin and her husband have created ‘Aaron’s Army’ to raise funds and awareness for childhood brain tumours in support of Brain Tumour Research.

Devastatingly, brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. This is unacceptable!

Please help us to help this amazing cause. Aaron was the most inspirational little boy. The boys want to help raise funds to help other children and families.

Every penny you can donate is gratefully received by us, by Aaron's family and by Brain Tumour Research.
