Jodie's fundraiser for Little Lady Locks

Jodie Smith is raising money for Little Lady Locks

Having hair chopped on 12th August, and organising fundraiser day on 16th August

The Charity objectives are to relieve the needs of children and young people up to the age of 18, who are suffering with hair loss due to alopecia or other hair loss conditions by the provision of wigs and hair systems including fitting and maintenance.

Story

On 12th August, I’ll be saying goodbye to my long hair and donating as much as possible to Little Lady Locks.

After not having a haircut for several years, I realised my hair could make a much bigger difference to someone else than it does to me. Little Lady Locks is an incredible charity that provides real-hair wigs to children who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment, alopecia and other medical conditions. They truly change lives by helping children regain confidence and feel like themselves again.

Each wig costs approximately £500 to make, so alongside donating my hair, I’d love to raise enough money to help fund the creation of a wig for a child in need.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a real difference.

Thank you so much for your kindness and support - it means the world ❤️
