The Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice team are lacing up and going the distance to help babies, children who are seriously unwell, and their families make the most of every day.

Story

Hi everyone! I'm Joe, one of 30 runners with Team Noah this year, and I feel extremely lucky to have the opportunity to raise (a minimum of) £2500 for an incredibly special charity. I'm a 20 year old from Manchester, and I am currently studying medicine at the University of Nottingham. I absolutely love physical challenges and all sports, especially badminton, but have wanted to run the London Marathon for a long time - and when the chance to support Noah's Ark came about, it was a no brainer.

The impact of Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice:

I visited the Ark in Barnet a couple years ago, and was blown away by the truly inspiring haven it is for so many families; its compassionate and holistic care for very unwell children, and their families cannot be understated.

Noah's Ark provides expert clinical, emotional and practical support both at The Ark (their state-of-the-art hospice building), and at home or hospital. What I saw when I went to The Ark was a charity that not only believes, but ensures that every child deserves a good quality of life, no matter how short it may be.

The marathon group target for Team Noah sits at £100,000, and it would be absolutely unbelievable if we reached this and I would be extremely grateful for any donations towards this charity. If a donation isn't possible, sharing this page with this link can help Team Noah reach as far as possible - and would also be greatly appreciated!

Thank you so much in advance for your support!

Joe
