Story
In 2027, I’ll be taking on my biggest challenge yet: running my very first London Marathon.
For many people, a marathon is 26.2 miles of determination, training, and perseverance. For me, it’s also an opportunity to support an incredible charity, Missing People, which provides vital support to people who go missing and the loved ones left searching for answers.
Every year, thousands of people are reported missing in the UK. Behind every case is a family, friend, or community facing uncertainty and worry. Missing People offers a lifeline through its confidential support services, helping reunite families and provide hope during some of life’s most difficult moments.
I’ve never run the London Marathon before, so this will be a huge personal challenge. The months ahead will involve early mornings, long training runs, sore legs, and plenty of determination. Knowing that every mile can help support Missing People’s vital work will keep me motivated when the training gets tough.
My goal is to raise £3,000, and every donation, no matter the size, will help make a real difference.
If you’re able to support me, I’d be incredibly grateful. Your generosity will help Missing People continue providing support, advice, and hope to those who need it most.
Thank you for helping me take on this challenge and support such an important cause.
Joe
