Story
In April 2026 I will be running the London Marathon for The Institute of Cancer Research.
In 2011 my Dad, David Dale, was diagnosed with Cancer . My dad battled Cancer for 6 long years and despite his bravery and strength he sadly passed away in 2017.
My Dad was just such a good person. Always caring and loving. Throughout his treatment he always continued with a big smile. And to me, this is why it will always feel so unfair.
However, the sad reality is that Cancer doesn’t care who you are. It continues to take innocent people’s lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with Cancer in their lifetime. 1 in 2 !
The only way to change these heartbreaking statistics is to raise as much money as possible for Cancer Research. This allows for new medicines and treatments to save the 1 in 2.
I would be so grateful if you could support me in my marathon to raise as much money as possible. Any donation no matter how small is appreciated so so much.
To further our support myself and six brave mates battled the Paras 10. A 15km run with 16kg on our backs. I was so proud to be apart of such a challenging events and I’m so grateful to my friends for battling this run with me.
Thank you ❤️
