PKS UK is a UK charity which aims to i) support research into the very rare Pallister-Killian Syndrome; ii) raise awareness and share information about PKS; iii) provide support for families impacted by PKS.

Story

PKS is a chromosome abnormality that occurs randomly within children. It is an extremely unique and diverse syndrome, which makes living with it a true challenge - not only for the child themselves, but also for their family. PKS UK is a charity setup to support the clinical research into PKS, as well as providing advice and support to those families impacted by it.

The work that they do holds a special place in my heart, as my younger brother was born with PKS. Although he will joke that being born a Baggies fan was a worse fate, the bravery and resilience that he shows on a daily basis is a real inspiration to myself and those around him.

In aid of PKS UK, my sister and I will be running the 2025 London Marathon. Since the charity relies heavily on fundraising, any donations would be massively appreciated - thank you so much for all your support and generosity!
