Hello there, thank you for taking a moment to read this. I am embarking on a remarkable journey with my son James, cycling from the UK to Greece. Starting on June 1st, we will pedal through picturesque landscapes, from the Rhine river in the Netherlands, through Germany, France, and eventually into Switzerland. Our route will take us over the Alps and down through Italy before reaching our final destination in Nydri, Greece. This adventure will span six weeks, with an average of 50 miles covered each day as we plan to camp along the way, occasionally staying in budget-friendly hotels. Hopefully it will be an adventure of a lifetime.

After meticulous planning, it dawned on me that I could use this journey as an opportunity to raise funds for a cause close to my heart - The Christie Charity. I have witnessed first hand the exceptional care provided by The Christie to those in need. Despite facing financial challenges, the NHS staff consistently deliver outstanding care due to their unwavering dedication. By undertaking this cycling challenge, I aim to contribute in my own small way and raise funds for these courageous individuals who provide vital support to those battling illness.
