Joe Farthing is raising money for St. Michael's Hospice (North Hampshire)

Team: TPT Fire Three Peaks Challenge 2026

St. Michael's Hospice (North Hampshire) is a provider of the highest quality and standard of specialist palliative and supportive care for patients in North Hampshire. Through our specialist skills and knowledge we work with patients affected by life-limiting illness to ensure they are able to live life to the fullest.

Story

I’m taking part in the National Three Peaks Challenge on 23rd–24th May 2026 as part of the TPT Fire team, raising money for St Michael’s Hospice (North Hampshire).

The challenge involves climbing the three highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales, Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon, within 24 hours, covering around 28 miles of hiking and nearly 3,000 metres of ascent.

St Michael’s Hospice is an independent charity based in Basingstoke that supports people across North Hampshire living with life-limiting illness, those facing the end of life, and families experiencing bereavement. Their dedicated nurses, doctors and therapists provide compassionate, specialist care to patients and their loved ones completely free of charge.

The hospice only receives 22% of its funding from the NHS, which means it relies heavily on community support and fundraising to continue its vital work. The hospice needs to raise around £14,500 every day to keep its services running.

Any donation, big or small, will make a real difference and help support this incredible local charity. Thank you so much for your support!
