Put on your walking boots and help us help older people and people living with dementia in East Renfrewshire.

Story

I will be participating in the Glasgow Kiltwalk 2025 on April 26, 2025, walking 14 miles to support Mearns Kirk Helping Hands. This fantastic non-religious charity plays a vital role in our community, providing companionship and support each week to over 250 older individuals and those living with dementia, and also giving respite to their families.

Every day, these people face the challenges of loneliness and isolation. Mearns Kirk Helping Hands offers them a safe space where they can connect with others, engage in meaningful activities, and feel valued. However, this essential work relies heavily on fundraising efforts to continue providing these invaluable services.

Any support you can give in reaching my target of £1,000 would be fantastic. Your generous contributions will directly impact the lives of those who need it most. If you are able to add Gift Aid to your donation, it would mean an extra 25% for the charity at no additional cost to you. Together, we can make a difference and help ensure that many people in East Ren do not have to face their struggles alone.

Thank you for considering supporting this worthwhile cause.
