Story
The S E C R E T is out... I will be running the London Marathon in April 2027 in aid of Leukaemia UK. My 2nd Abbott World Marathon Major out of 6!
I am genuinely honoured to have been selected and trusted with the opportunity to run for such an important cause.
I'll be running to support Leukaemia UK and the vital work they do funding research and improving outcomes for people affected by leukaemia.
As exciting as this opportunity is, I know the challenge ahead is a big one — not just the marathon itself, but also raising the funds needed for such an important cause. It's a daunting target, £2750, but one I'm absolutely determined to achieve. I'm ready to put in the work, push myself out of my comfort zone, and do everything I can to make a meaningful difference through this journey.
Over the coming months I'll be sharing training updates (especially with Chicago Marathon only 18 weeks away - that I am running beforehand), fundraising plans, and probably a few moments of questioning why I signed up.
If you have any suggestions / ways I can raise money, I am all ears, and would love any help that anyone can give me.
Thank you in advance to everyone who supports, encourages, donates, shares, or simply follows the journey - it will genuinely mean a lot.

We are Leukaemia UK. We believe research has the power to stop leukaemia devastating lives.
Despite decades of incredible progress, only half of leukaemia patients live longer than five years after their diagnosis. We won’t stop until we change this.
Bringing together the leukaemia community, we will accelerate progress through life-changing research, awareness and advocacy, doing everything we can to make sure that the next person with leukaemia has the best possible experience of diagnosis, treatment and care.
