Belfast Marathon 2025 · 4 May 2025 ·

Children and adults with Down’s syndrome are all unique individuals with their own personalities, family backgrounds and preferences that make them who they are. We aim to create the conditions that all people with Down’s syndrome need to live full and rewarding lives.

Story

The Northern Ireland Down's Syndrome Association does so much for people with Down's Syndrome and their families. They are a huge part of my brother Nathan's life - and support so many of his friends.

Every week, they run activities that build community and provide active and fulfilling social lives for people with Down's Syndrome, while ensuring that carers can have a brief moment to relax.

I'm running the Belfast Marathon on 4 May to help support their work. It's all quite last minute, as I didn't really believe I'd be able to do it. But now that I've got through training with minimal injury, I'd so appreciate any support for DSA NI.

I have spoken to the DSA fundraising team and confirmed that any money raised will be earmarked for the activities budget of the Northern Ireand Down's Syndrome Association.
