Early this year we went to visit Tharua Special School near Naro Moru Kenya. Our hearts were broken when we found the level of condition that these poor kids have been living in. They currently have 25 SEN children who have varying levels of severe challenges. They have been loaned a small 40 metre by 20 metre classroom block to house the kids with no proper toilet or bathroom. We asked what one of their greatest needs is at the moment and they said a clean bathroom and toilet. So we would like to help the school to build a purpose-built ablutions block on their newly donated land. Ideally we would also like to build a boarding dormitory for the kids.

The kids live on site during term time in very poor and inadequate conditions.

The school has no infrastructure on the 2 acre plot of land and so we are starting from the bare ground up.
