Joe's fundraiser for The Brain Tumour Charity

Oxford Half Marathon 2025 · 12 October 2025 · Start fundraising for this event
Just before Christmas in 2024, we received some devastating news that a family member had been diagnosed with a brain tumour. Following surgery to remove the tumour we were soon told that the surgery hadn’t been successful in removing this in its entirety, and they would need to start a gruelling 12 months of chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
Due to the brutal affects that these treatments cause, I have decided to sign myself up to the Oxford half marathon to raise money for The Brain Tumour Charity
The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, we're moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour.
They’re set on finding new treatments, offering the highest level of support and driving urgent change. And they’re doing it right now. Because we understand that when you, or someone you love, is diagnosed with a brain tumour a cure really can't wait.
