The Royal Signals Charity supports Regular, Retired and Reserve Signallers. We do this by providing benevolence grants to those facing distress or hardship. We support our community through grants that look to encourage comradery, corps history and education of our trades.

Story

On 8 October 2026, in celebration of the 56th Fiji Day, a significant national milestone recognised by Fijians worldwide, a dedicated team Sgt J Bibi,Cpl Joe Nalewabau and LCpl Kola Nalewabau from the Fijian Royal Signals Association Branch will undertake a Hybrid Endurance Challenge. This personal challenge involves completing 56 km of running, 56 km of rowing, and 56 km of cycling within an eight-hour timeframe. This event not only commemorates the longstanding and close ties between Fiji and the United Kingdom but also serves to strengthen community spirit.

The challenge supports the Royal Signals Charity, which provides vital benevolence grants to serving personnel, veterans, and their families facing distress or hardship. The charity also fosters camaraderie across the Corps family, promotes Corps ethos, and encourages continuous professional development. By raising awareness and funds through this event, we aim to honour the legacy of those who fought for freedom and ensure their sacrifices continue to have a lasting impact.

We invite you to support this cause by contributing towards our target of £1,200.Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of many within the Royal Corps of Signals community. Your support is deeply appreciated. #56for56challenge
