I am taking part in the Pilgrimage of Hope from the 28th August to the 13th September. Personally I am going to be covering 181 miles of the 210 mile route. I know that what we, as pilgrims on this journey, do will have many positive effects in our lives and hopefully in the lives of those we encounter but it wouId be amazing if it could reach even further. I've been asked numerous times if I am walking for a charity so I wanted to name one which honours a great man who is well loved in my parish. This is a small charity which directly impacts the lives of those who need its help. I'd love it if we could even raise a pound per mile!
