I’m going to run 105 miles (4 marathons) in 24 hours to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK because this is a disease that affects far too many men, often without warning. Prostate cancer is now the most commonly diagnosed cancer in men in the UK, with 1 in 8 men affected—and the risk is even higher for Black men, rising to 1 in 4. What makes it more dangerous is that it often develops with no obvious symptoms in the early stages, meaning many men are diagnosed too late. By supporting this cause, you’re helping to fund life-saving research, improve early detection, and raise awareness so more men know their risk and take action. Any donation, big or small, genuinely makes a difference.
