Story
In 2025, 5,728 suicides were registered in England , an average of around 16 every day. The suicide rate was 11.1 deaths per 100,000 people. For men, the rate was 17.7 per 100,000, compared with 5.5 per 100,000 for women.
Behind every statistic is a person, a family, friends, colleagues and a life that mattered.
That’s why Joe and Phillip are raising money for Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), a suicide prevention charity providing tools, resources and a life-saving helpline for people who are struggling, have lost someone to suicide, or are worried about someone they love.
