The money raised in memory of Paul Bleasby for the event will help to fund the British Heart Foundation’s ground-breaking research that will get us closer than ever to a world free from the fear of heart and circulatory diseases.

We have some of our ground-breaking scientific research ongoing at the University of Leeds, near to Otley where the event starts and finishes. The British Heart Foundation currently fund 49 projects to research better treatments for conditions such as heart attack, heart failure and type 2 diabetes.

We can only fund our research to save and improve lives thanks to support from the general public. This support has simply never been more needed, thank you.

Unfortunately we lost a loving father, gan gan, uncle and husband. Although they are is a hole in our family we hope to raise money to ensure other families don't feel the same and Paul lived through this
