Joe's fundraiser for Alzheimer's Research UK

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·
In April, I’m taking on one of my biggest challenges yet – running the London Marathon – and I’m proud to say I’ll be doing it to support Alzheimer’s Research UK, a cause that’s close to my heart.
Like many, I’ve seen firsthand how devastating dementia can be. It’s an illness that affects not only the person diagnosed but their families too. My own family has been touched by Alzheimer’s, and it’s heartbreaking to watch a loved one slowly lose their memories, their independence, and their essence. Unfortunately, this is a reality many families face, and it’s why I’m determined to do my part to help change it.
I’m running this marathon to raise money for Alzheimer’s Research UK, a charity that funds vital research to help us understand, treat, and ultimately find a cure for dementia. The work they do is critical, and every donation will go directly toward funding groundbreaking research that can bring us one step closer to defeating this terrible disease.
I promise to put my heart and soul into this challenge, training hard and giving everything I’ve got on the day. Knowing that every step I take is helping fund such important research will be an incredible motivator, and I would be deeply grateful for your support.
Please consider sponsoring me – no matter how big or small, every donation will make a difference. Together, we can help Alzheimer’s Research UK continue its life-changing work and bring hope to millions of families affected by dementia.
Thank you so much for your support!
